Innovative Hand Embroidery Workshops

Lessons in Couture Hand Embroidery

We are delighted to announce we will be offering Hand Embroidery Workshops and Classes from 2018 for students in and around the London area.

All Classes will be open to beginners in Hand Embroidery, with more advanced students catered for within the classes.

Having spent over 6 years learning hand embroidery and design from various schools in London, including the world-renowned ‘London College of Fashion’, our managing director Georgina Bellamy knows how important it is to have a solid foundation of traditional techniques in your repertoire. Learning the innovative often only comes once we learn the traditional, which is why our studio provides both skill sets to its students.

Our hand embroidery workshops combine a wide range of classic techniques in various embroidery fields, from Goldwork, Beading and Lace, to Quilting, Stumpwork and Hand Embroidery Stitching looked at from a contemporary perspective.

Much of our current embroidered art features innovative pad work techniques, which can be taught alongside traditional felt working. Students will have an opportunity to experiment various materials, including Goldwork wires, various beads and the occasional taxidermy product!

Please take a look at our gallery or Instagram for more sculptural embroidery techniques.

Georgina Bellamy has taught many workshops in sculptural and couture embroidery techniques across Europe and is delighted to now be able to offer these in the UK.

A wide range of Embroidery Materials can also be found in our shop, along with various Goldwork and Embroidery Kits, all of which are readily available in any of our workshops or regular classes.

Please get in touch for more details on what current Workshops are on offer.
